The Pavillion has been hosting the Peoples Gateway drop in job club every Tuesday from 1:30pm – 3:30pm in partnership with Connect Community Trust from 2014.  Having a job club within our facility gives local residents in Blairtummock and beyond access to practical support and assistance with:

• Applying for jobs

• Using the I.C.T facility

• Writing CV’s & cover letters

• Preparing for interviews

• Understanding claimant commitment

• Accessing training & volunteering opportunities

• Making applications to Scottish Welfare Fund & DWP

We maintain positive working relationships with local housing associations, Jobcentre Plus and Glasgow Kelvin College to help deliver this service on your doorstep.  Our advice and support is tailored to individual requirements and needs to ensure they get the most out of the service we offer.
